Specifically designed for teamplay though. City streets with a _lot_ of cover positions and interesting places to hide. Two well defendable positions at either end of the map Other maps by me : c)works - crap DM map c)trench - dodgy CTF map c)fallen - first AQ map, crashes people's computers c)city - this one but Spectacle killed it off before the testing began c)city2a - city map using baseq2 textures, very big and a bit boring to play with few people c)city3 - this map Additional Credits to : id Software Killer for starting me off on this long road to death (life and mapping). Grin Reaper as he is probably the best 'tech' style single player map maker around, COS1, COS2, COS3 and a new HL project My mum - for putting up with £120 phone bills :) Ruskprick for the textures, he is very good at the artwork skill. All textures in this map are from the city and community texture directories. (community = same as school). Editor used : worldcraft 1.6 sw - supporting the shareware concept ;) Known Bugs : None, none at ALL, 'cept the sky see-through walls problem, cant be bothered to fix again Build Time : 9 hours or less over 3 days (Christmas eve) then on this day 02/04/99 14:54:11, i finished it all off nicely :) Texture WALs used : E1U1, E3U3, community, city Sky : Igor's Env/sky map rox...it truly does Compile machine : AMD K6-2 333 with my dodgy motherboard so its at 266mhz (not a Super Socket 7) 64mb SDRAM, S3 Virge 2d and 4mb Diamond Monster 3d QBSP3 Time : 10 seconds QVIS3 (-level 4) Time : 1945 seconds (32 minutes) QRAD3 (-extra) Time : 1 hour or so * Editor's Note * Originally finished at 1am on Christmas Eve, this map was denied for testing by the dictatorship of Spectacle, damn him to hell (u know im joking m8) Played this map yesterday and realised it could be pretty darned good, so I added a lot, did some overhauls and now I'm releasing it. * How to play this BSP * 1. Put the map in 'action\maps' directory under your Quake2 directory (without quotes, create one if it doesn't exist.) 2. Start Quake2, set you skill level and enter the map in your Quake2 console. 3. Si soon collapsed for some reason and the BYD members became full members, TxF also left AQ and stayed with the DM and CTF concepts. Obby and Computer chose new names for BYD (Syanide and EdiT). We tend not to lose and the times that we have, have been under rather annoying circumstances, no offence to clans like DP, FEAR and SG but every time we played you we either had less players or were on a laggy server...or we just chose a very bad map (for example one time we played FEAR we beat em on Armyterr then Syan said we should do Urban cos -BYD-Cube rox on it...Cube didnt play....we lost badly under a laggy server) We are to play DP after 1999 Easter and hopefully FEAR too.
